Located in boundaries of the Valley of Evre and its Norman hedged farmlands, from cereal lowlands of Beauce and, on borders of Yvelines; for a long time, Chérisy attracted men.Our location between lowland and valley fast favoured the establishment of numerous mills on the banks of Evre. The place of production of raw material (the cereal lowlands of Beauce and Thymerais) being close to the place of transformation. Today, Chérisy is a delightful small village of Eure-et-Loir counting 1 807 souls (inventory 1999). Michel Lethuillier, mayor of the village since 1977 is also general adviser of the department of Eure-et-Loir.
